It was still 1950 when the young Giuseppe Geraci discovered he had a great passion for coffee, as he offered it in a cup every day to the customers of his family’s prestigious business, the Pasticceria Geraci in San Giuseppe Iato, the place where he approached the craft and which would later determine his future choices, such as that of opening his own coffee roasting company.

The small family-run coffee roasting company was founded in 1969 thanks to his passion and intuition: barely twenty years old, Giuseppe laid the foundations for the development of a solid business, capable of fully interpreting, over the years, the true role of a quality coffee in the Palermo and Sicilian scenario. Thus Caffè Caliente was born.

Experience, dedication and sacrifice are passed on to the entire family who, especially with their son Salvatore, are dedicated to promoting a business driven by determination and always in turmoil. Over the years, passion and attention to detail have led to a constant evolution of the blends and refinement of the processing, starting with an increasingly careful selection of the best raw coffees on the international market.

Today, Salvatore Geraci carries on his father’s business with the brand Caffè Geraci 1969 together with his family, reinterpreting the tradition every day and committing himself to the search for the highest quality of blends, while the brand is constantly expanding in the different market segments and on the national and international scene.
